COSHH & Risk Assessments
Every substance we bring into your building is assessed first.
COSHH — the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations — governs how cleaning chemicals are selected, stored, used and disposed of. Where we supply the materials that duty sits with us, and COSHH awareness and safe chemical use are built into how our teams work either way.

Identify
We list every product in use on your site and obtain the manufacturer's safety data sheet for each one, so nothing is in the cupboard undocumented.

Assess
Each substance is assessed for how it will actually be used here — dilution, contact time, ventilation, and who else is in the building while it happens.
- 03
Control
We substitute for a milder product wherever one will do the job, then set the controls that remain: dilution rates, PPE, ventilation and safe storage.

Record and review
Assessments, data sheets and training records are kept current and available on site, and reviewed whenever a product or method changes.

How this works day to day
An assessment in a folder protects nobody. These are the controls that actually travel with the operative and the trolley.
Correct dilution, every time
Products are decanted and dosed to the manufacturer's rate. Concentrates stay in labelled original containers — never decanted into an unmarked bottle.
Secure, segregated storage
Chemicals are stored in a designated locked area, kept off the floor, and never stored with food, waste or incompatible substances.
Milder products where they work
We choose the least hazardous product that will do the job properly. Eco-friendly and low-fragrance ranges are available on request.
Spill and exposure response
Every operative knows the response for the products they carry, and the safety data sheet is on site if medical advice is ever needed.
